Goshiki-numa Lake (五色沼) in Fukushima

Assalamualikum and hello world,
Autumn season has already started. One among the Japanese seasonal cultural activities is 'Kouyou (紅葉).' It is an activity to see the leaves of deciduous Japanese trees that change theri colour into red, yellow or orange.
Japanese people admire kouyou just as they admire cherry blossom during spring.
Goshiki-numa Lake (五色沼) in Fukushima is one of the most famous places for kouyou. What special about this place is the five coloured lake. Goshiki-numa Lake is five clusters of lakes that are located at the foot of Mount Bandai. These lakes were created due to a volcanic eruption in 1888, which caused havoc in Bandai area. Abundant minerals deposited by the volcanic activity contributed to the different colours to each of the lakes. The 3.6km walking trail will allow you to appreciate each of the 5 lakes. The biggest lake named 'Bishamon-numa (毘沙門沼) Lake' has glowing turquoise blue-green colour. During the autumn, the lake presents even more spectacular and beautiful sight of the mixture of turquoise blue/green and red/yellow of maple leaves.
The fluorescent dazzling carps inside the lake give extra colours to this lake.
In addition, we can enjoy the lake itself by using rental boat there. Other lakes along the walking trail include Aka-numa (赤沼) Lake, Midoro-numa (みどろ沼) Lake, Benten-numa (弁天沼) Lake and finally Ao-numa (青沼) Lake. Each of these lakes has unique coloure that contributes to the magical sight of Goshiki-numa (五色沼) Lakes. Now, it's the best time, hence don’t miss and enjoy kouyou at Goshiki-numa, Fukushima.
