Minamisanriku is one of Miyagi's famous fishing ports. Warm and cold currents from southern and northern Japan meets in Minamisanriku sea.
This creates the biodiversity that results in seafood that are rich both in quality and quantity. I bought Minamisanriku's Sanma Tatsuta age (Fried Mackarel Pike) at a grocery store. The taste was simple yet incredible. It is perfect with warm rice and miso soup. And not to forget, it’s HALAL & TOYIB!
