Persimmon is exotic fruit known
as "kaki" in Japan. It is seasonal autumn fruit. It contains a lot of
minerals, vitamins and has antioxidants properties. Its flesh texture is
good source of dietary fiber. Here, I will review two types of popular
sweet persimmons. Fuyuugaki has soft flesh. It’s very sweet, juicy, and
melts quickly in
the mouth. On the other hand, Jirogaki has firmer
flesh and crispy texture. Apart from eating raw, it also can be part of
ingredient for pudding, bread, salads and ice cream flavor. Do enjoy
persimmon/ kaki during this autumn season and enjoy the taste.
