Manjuu (まんじゅう) is a popular snack in Japan and there are a variety of kinds of manjuu. This particular chestnut manjuu of Aizu Sakamotoya (会津坂本屋) is a specialty product from Aizu, Fukushima. It got great flavour and soft texture. Its main feature is the chestnut inside the skin, which I found really suits the manjuu. The taste is sweet and delicious. If you're in Aizu, I highly recommend this snack for you to bring home as a souvenir.
