Towada Winter Story 2016
In the snowy scenery, Lake Towada Winter Story festival(十和田湖冬物語) is going on for 23 days. The event’s draws include a gate of snow and light, snow statues, beautiful illuminations and more, and they together make an enchanting view. Lake Towada Winter Story which aims to promote Aomori’s tourism during winter is one of Tōhoku’s largest winter festival.The festival also features Snow Lanterns, Tsugaru-jamisen music performance, and Haneto dance.You can’t miss the winter fireworks which start at 20:00 and continue for 15 minutes every day.They bring out dreamy atmosphere in the sky. The Lake Towada Winter Story festival is held until February 28. Drop by if you have a chance to visit Tohoku!
